Mr. Levie focuses his legal practice on intellectual property litigation, patent prosecution and trademark prosecution.
He graduated magna cum laude, was ranked third in his class and was on the Dean’s List every semester while at Cumberland School of Law. He received the Scholar of Merit award for nine law classes for having the highest grade in each class. Mr. Levie also graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University with an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and minors in Psychology and Engineering Management. He was on the Engineering Dean’s list every semester while at Vanderbilt University.
Mr. Levie was previously employed at the Atlanta office of King & Spalding LLP and served as an intern to the Honorable Karon O. Bowdre at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
In addition to his school and work accomplishments, Mr. Levie has volunteered at the Birmingham HELP Clinics, where he assisted in drafting wills and powers of attorney and in counseling individuals regarding domestic relations and divorce proceedings. He also served as a volunteer tax preparer for low-income, working families during the 2009-2011 tax seasons.
